Product Evaluation Plan: Under-desk Treadmills
In January 2025, students in Western Michigan University’s EMR 6430 Evaluation II: Evaluating Products, Personnel, and Policy course developed product evaluation plans for a product of their choice. Each student envisioned a data collection plan, developed rubrics defined by criteria and values, and incorporated a weight and sum methodology (Davidson, 2005). They applied this methodology to simulated data sets and generated overall scores to rank products based on performance. Below is the video presentation and full plan submitted by Alison LaRocca, first year doctoral student in the Evaluation, Measurement, and Research program.
